I am an English photographer and director whose work encompasses fashion, beauty, celebrity portraiture, and fine art.

I create iconic images that are both human and intimate, characterized by a refined color palette and sophisticated composition.

My work serves as a timeless reflection of culture, place, and time.

Over 25 years, I have collaborated with prominent magazines and fashion houses, including i-D, Dazed, Harper's Bazaar, and Vogue (US, British, French, and Italian), as well as brands like YSL Homme, Calvin Klein, Zegna, and Burberry and I have shot more than 150 magazine covers of the most iconic faces of our time.

Through my personal projects, I am working to present a more authentic human approach to beauty photography.

 I always find the people I photograph to be more interesting, and more powerful when they arrive at the studio before they are transformed by hair and makeup teams.  My goal is to redefine beauty in these ABOUT - David Slijper VYWA
